Outdoor Wireless Remote Control Outlet

Product Description

Outdoor Wireless Remote Control Outlet. What the picture doesn’t show is the choice: you can press the button on the outlet unit itself or use the included remote. Keep the remote near your favorite chair or bedside for easy access, and use the button when you’re next to the unit.

Small conveniences can just make everyday life a little easier. This indoor/outdoor remote-control outlet lets you switch whatever you plug into it (connected lights, extension cords, and other compatible devices) on or off without repeatedly plugging and unplugging them.

We use it to control a string of outdoor patio lights. It includes two grounded outlets and a wireless remote with a listed range of up to 100 feet in open areas.

The outlet is made for outdoor use and can withstand rain, but it’s weather-resistant – not waterproof. For safer use outdoors, keep it upright with the outlets facing down and position it at least 2 feet above the ground. Don’t submerge it or expose it to a direct stream of water, and use a covered or sheltered spot when possible.

It’s a practical option for porch lights, holiday decorations, or hard-to-reach lamps. The remote works through walls and doors without requiring a direct line of sight, and the unit is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Setup is straightforward: plug it in, connect your lights, and use the remote (or button) – no programming required.

Its compact size makes it easy to tuck out of the way without taking up much space, giving you plenty of flexibility when deciding where to place it. What the picture doesn’t show is that it also has mounting holes, so you can secure it in a convenient spot instead of leaving it hanging loose.
